Terms of Service

Using On The Top!

On The Top! is a coaching platform for swim teams. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of a team or organization, you represent that you’re authorized to do so.

Your account

• Keep your login credentials secure and don’t share them.
• You’re responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the data you enter.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Inviting your staff

Head coaches can bring their coaching staff onto the platform by generating invite links from inside their program. This ability belongs to the head coach only— other roles cannot issue invites.

• Invite links are confidential. Send them only to members of your own program’s staff — never post them publicly or pass them outside your organization.
• Each invite is for one person, who joins under their own account with the role and groups you assign. Don’t use invites to share a single account.
• You’re responsible for the access you grant: review your staff list periodically and remove coaches who leave your program. We may revoke invites or access that violate these terms.

Data you enter

Coaches enter data about their swimmers, including minors. For a swimmer’s age, the platform keeps the swimmer’s birth year for everyday coaching; a full date of birth is stored only where a coach enters one for meet entries, whose age rules turn on the exact day. You confirm you have the right to enter that data and to use it for coaching purposes, and you agree to handle it responsibly. Our handling of it is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to break security or access other teams’ data, and no uploading of content you don’t have the right to share.

Our content & yours

The platform, its software, and its design are ours. The content you create (workouts, plans, roster data) remains yours; you grant us the permission needed to store and display it so we can provide the service.

Coaching decisions are yours

The service computes planning aids — training loads, readiness flags, pace targets, and similar figures. They are calculations on the data you entered, not medical, health, or safety advice, and they can be wrong or incomplete. Every coaching decision, and every swimmer-safety decision, remains entirely yours. Never rely on the service in place of your own judgment, your program’s safety rules, or a medical professional.

Availability & disclaimer

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but it is provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE, without warranties of any kind— express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and regardless of legal theory, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost opportunities. During the beta, total liability is further capped as set out in the Beta Program Agreement.

Ending use

You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your team’s data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves; we’ll update the date above when we do.
